In Neuenstein, a terrace reinvented to welcome and amaze
A new outdoor space designed for the guests of Goldene Sonne
Goldene Sonne, a hotel-restaurant located in Neuenstein, Germany, has breathed new life into its terrace by completely redesigning the outdoor space to create an atmosphere that is both comfortable and elegant. Now a central spot for visitors, the layout had to meet several challenges: withstand intensive daily use, blend harmoniously with a historic building, and maintain a warm identity.
From the very beginning of the project, the Goldene Sonne team was supported by our experts at the Cologne showroom, where they were able to select furniture perfectly suited to their needs and identity, while envisioning a bespoke space thanks to 3D plans.
The establishment aimed to invest in durable, high-end furniture. The collections from the Fermob group, renowned for their timeless style and ability to integrate naturally into unique environments, quickly became the obvious choice.
Fermob’s expertise in working with solid teak was also decisive in choosing the Lodge collection: a noble and resilient wood, teak brings authentic warmth and an elegant grain, ideal for the demands of an intensive dining area.
To complete the layout, Malte and Tetra bases were selected for their modularity and robustness, effectively meeting the different service rhythms. The Aplô lamp, with its clever lighting concept, offers a versatile and stylish solution designed for professionals. Finally, the Easy Track parasols, with their large-scale canopies and refined design, ensure lasting protection and smooth handling—an essential asset for a welcoming and functional terrace all year round.
