Bureau EA redefines the world of wellness with the Geinberg Spa Resort.
Upper Austria’s largest thermal spa reinvented by Bureau EA.
Bureau EA is an international design agency based in Vienna. Between 2019 and 2021, the agency was commissioned with the complete renovation of the Spa Resort Geinberg Hotel. One of Austria’s leading wellness destinations, the hotel boasts 192 rooms and offers a wide range of spaces, including 3 water worlds (fresh, thermal and salt water), a Lagoon area, 11 themed saunas and 3 restaurant areas.
Eugenie and her team turned to Fermob for its highly-resistant furniture (particularly to humidity and chlorine), which is perfect for collective and intensive use, and available in a wide range of colours.

As such, Fermob has equipped the sauna areas, poolside areas, Karibik beach bar, relaxation areas, etc., with various collections that complement each other in their uses, bringing a sense of harmony and positivity to the establishment.
“We drew on fresh and cheerful Caribbean-inspired colours, such as Lagoon Blue and Capucine, in keeping with Spa Resort Geinberg’s motto: 365 days of Caribbean summer”.
The Shangai parasols (which have since been discontinued) were made by Vlaemynck, Fermob Group’s second brand and a textile expert, which masterfully matched the available colours with the metal furniture.
